Day 1: Amritsar to Haridwar

Your spiritual journey begins from Amritsar as you travel towards Haridwar, one of the most sacred cities in India. The journey takes you through the plains of North India, offering a comfortable drive. Travellers can hire a private taxi for a relaxed experience or opt for a tempo traveller for group travel, as both options are easily available for this route. Upon arrival, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti in the evening. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar to Joshimath

After breakfast, proceed towards Joshimath, a scenic hill town nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas. The drive follows the Alaknanda River and passes through beautiful locations like Rishikesh and Rudraprayag. This long yet picturesque journey is best undertaken with experienced drivers, and both taxis and tempo travellers are commonly used for such tours. Arrive in Joshimath by evening and relax for the night.

Day 3: Joshimath to Govindghat to Ghangaria (Trek)

Drive from Joshimath to Govindghat, the starting point of the trek. This short journey can be comfortably covered by taxi or a tempo traveller arranged for your tour. From Govindghat, begin your trek to Ghangaria, which is surrounded by lush greenery, waterfalls, and scenic landscapes. Pony and palki services are also available for those who prefer assistance. Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkunt Sahib and Return

Early in the morning, begin your trek to the holy Hemkunt Sahib, located at an altitude of over 4,000 meters. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks and a glacial lake, this sacred site offers a truly spiritual experience. After paying your respects and spending some peaceful time, trek back to Ghangaria. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat to Joshimath

After breakfast, trek back down to Govindghat and continue your drive to Joshimath. Taxis and tempo travellers are the most convenient options for this route, especially for group travellers. Upon arrival, relax and unwind after the trek. Overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day 6: Joshimath to Amritsar

Begin your return journey from Joshimath to Amritsar. This is a long but comfortable drive through scenic mountain roads and plains. Travellers can choose between private taxis or tempo travellers depending on their group size and comfort preference. The yatra concludes with unforgettable spiritual memories.
